The name says it all, these are larger groups of people who get together to learn, have fun, and grow. They meet on a consistent basis and are always excited to have new people join!
Whether it’s your first time attending a class or you’re looking for a new perspective, this is a great group to jump into. We get together Sunday mornings during the Sunday School hour (September – May) from 10:00 – 11:00 AM in the chapel. The group studies various books, bible studies, and lessons throughout the year. Join anytime. This is a great way for parents to study God’s Word while sending kids off to have fun in their age-appropriate class too! GMW is a great group of ladies whose focus is mission awareness and working to promote the wellness of women and children. UMW meets as a large group on the third Thursday of each month from September to May. Starting at 9:30 AM, women meet in the church dining room for a group update, mission minded program and, of course, great food! UMW is involved in many ministries at Faith Alive and throughout the community. The group also supports mission work around the world.
The group meets the 2nd Tuesday of the month from 7:30 – 9:00 PM at the church. Do you have little ones at home and you can’t remember the last time you went potty alone? Do you work outside the home and when you finally get home, your brain is “done”? Do you parent teenagers and you’re exhausted, worrying about their internet access, friends, and choices? Join other women who answered, “yes!” to one or more of these questions!
Small groups are centered around a specific topic, stage in life, or general interest.
